Our leadership is based upon the biblical model of a plurality of elders (Titus 1:5; 1 Timothy 3).
Elders are also referred to in various translations of the Bible as shepherds, bishops and pastors.
These biblical leaders work together to shepherd the church (1 Peter 5:2),
that is, to look after the spiritual welfare of the members of the congregation.
Elders work hand-in-hand with deacons (those who are designated to head-up specific
ministries and service projects–1 Timothy 3:14-15). In addition, preachers and teachers
proclaim and explain God’s Word in sermons, Bible classes, and home
Bible studies (Ephesians 4:11-13).
